Two soldiers were martyred by an IED blast at Kohlu, Balochistan

The military’s media wing announced on Friday that two soldiers were martyred when an IED detonated close to them during a “sanitization operation” in the Kohlu region of Baluchistan.

A sanitization operation was started on February 10 in the Balochistan region of Kohlu to deny terrorists any freedom of action, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which said it was based on reliable intelligence. Near the leading party during the operation, an IED exploded.

As a result, Major Jawad and Captain Sagheer, two officers, accepted martyrdom and gave their life in defence of their country against an external threat. In order to catch the offenders, a sanitization operation was already in progress, according to the ISPR.

The ill-gotten peace and prosperity in Balochistan cannot be sabotaged by such shameful actions by adversarial forces. Even at the cost of blood and deaths, security personnel are still committed to opposing their evil plans, according to the statement.
