Saudi Arabia & UAE suggest International Monetary Fund (IMF) provide funds to Pakistan.

According to the Finance Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates forced on IMF to provide funds to Pakistan. It was confirmed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) that Pakistan will get two billion US dollars.

And UAE confirmed to fund one billion US dollars to Pakistan.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that all the information for the staff-level agreements between Pak and IMF has been executed.

Ishaq Dar desired to sign staff level agreement with IMF and get clearance from its executive board.

Eshaq Dar had a virtual meeting with the South Asian Vice President of the World band Martin Raiser, during this meeting he thanked the team of the World Bank to support and help Pakistan during the flood.

Martin Raiser appreciates the hard work of Pakistan during the flood.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) confirmed about additional two billion dollars in deposits to Pakistan.

to get the fund, the government added taxes and raised prices.

IMF had demanded that the Pakistani government need to present a Written application with the signatures of other countries.
