Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has published its annual report on cyber security for 2022

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has published an annual cyber security report, for 2022 containing Critical Telecom Data and Infrastructure Security Regulation (CTDISR) has published.

In this report, PTA has published an analysis of the top 15 telecommunication operators.

PTA audited these networks based on different categories, i.e., Size of the network, type of license, and many other important perspectives. According to the report, in the A category JAZZ was the best network, on the other hand, Telenor was ranking on second. In category B, RedTone was holding the ground and Multi Net was runner-up.

Category A was containing all of the networks that have mobile phone operators, and more than 1 license holder fixed line operator. While category B was developed by keeping in view middle to higher operators/ISPs.

The report also covered strong and weak points of view about the cyber security of the last year. PTA is committed to keeping its users safe from any kind of cyber-attacks and it is trying to make the telecom more flexible and progressive.
