Toxic Alcohol has killed 27 People in India, According to Sources

They bought cheap, low-quality alcohol, which they called “desi daru,” was supplied by local dealers, police have arrested more than 170 people who were involved for buying and selling of toxic alcohol in Bihar.

Earlier alcohol was banned in Bihar, despite the ban on the sale of toxic alcohol; people were still selling it that was why the police were also seen as unsuccessful in stopping them.

Their cause of death was the low quality of wine, which was mixed with poisonous methyl alcohol and spirit. Methanol and ethylene glycol are two groups and examples of poisonous alcohol.

According to Police officer Jitender Kumar, 27 deaths had been reported and more than 170 were arrested due to their Involvement in crime.

Most of the victims were belongs to poor family of Bihar and they could not effort good quality of wine that is why they buy cheap and toxic alcohol which was made by locals and is called Desi Daru.

In a rapid surprise attack the police destroyed more than 900 litres and 240 gallons of Desi Daru, which was a toxic wine, in same state many people were died in past because of toxic alcohol as well.

Why Toxic Alcohol is Dangerous for Health?
