Government decided to close down Karachi Zoo Permanently

Government decided to close down Karachi Zoo permanently due to bad management system and poor condition for Zoo animals.

Noor Jehan an elephant was at Karachi Zoo, and was critically ill, Pakistani doctors were unable to treat this huge elephant, and that is why they decided to call off specialists from outside of country.

The specialists from outside of country started to treat Noor Jehan, but between this due to poor zoo management system the elephant fall down to the water and got injured. When Noor Jehan fell into pond the management team reported that the elephant was fine, but the elephant was in serious trouble.

Doctors from outside of the country had come for treatment, but the administration, here gave proof that they were unable to run this this zoo. This was the reason that Federal Minister of Climate Change, Sherry Rehman give order to shut down Karachi Zoo. And is a good decision at a time.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari supported this idea and he suggested moving Noor Jahan and other animals to safer places for proper treatment. On April 05 seven international veterinary doctors came from outside the county to treat the elephant, Noor Jehan; they perform ultrasound and found hematoma in her abdomen.

The veterinarians are from Bulgaria, Egypt and Germany that said earlier that if the treatment was started at time then it will cause internal bleeding. This shows the negligence of the management, however the decision to close the zoo is right so that the animals can rest the elephant can be treated properly.
