Globally and Locally, Gold Is Getting More Expensive

The gold price rose further in both the local and international bullion markets.

Gold prices on the international bullion market rose by $3 per ounce to $1,866 on Saturday, while gold prices on the local bullion market rose by Rs 1,200 and Rs 1,029, respectively, in response to the increase in gold prices per tola and per ten grams.

In the bullion markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, the price of gold per tola increased to Rs 198,700, and the price of gold per ten grams increased to Rs 170,353.

It should be noted that the price of gold per ounce rose by $15 to $1,834 on Friday in the international bullion market, but despite this, the prices of gold per tola and ten grams decreased by Rs. 200 and Rs.172, respectively in the local bullion market.

On the contrary, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at 2120 rupees and the price of ten grams of silver at 1817.55 rupees.
