DigitalOcean is Launching an IT Training Programme in Pakistan

The company recently acquired Cloudways Pakistan and that they plan to launch a training programme for Pakistani youth.

Yancey Spruill, CEO of DigitalOcean, stated on Tuesday that the company recently acquired Cloudways Pakistan and that they plan to launch a training programme for Pakistani youth in collaboration with various universities to provide IT skills to enable them to compete in the global market.

According to the minister, Pakistan has a lot of potential in the IT sector, and the government is eager to expand the IT industry in order to increase its contribution to Pakistan’s economic development.

He praised DigitalOcean for its interest in training the country’s IT workforce. He also stated that the government will provide all necessary assistance to the company in order for it to expand its business and investment in the country.
