Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), nominated Maryam Nawaz as the party’s senior vice-president on Tuesday.

Maryam Nawaz has been given permission to reorganise the party at all functional tiers/levels as the “Chief Organizer,” according to a notification released by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, which Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb published on Twitter.

The announcement states, “The undersigned is happy to designate Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif as Senior Vice President” with immediate effect in accordance with the authority granted by the Pakistan Muslim League-N Constitution.
