The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) granted PIA permission to do check maintenance in Islamabad, marking a big victory for the company. With the ability to now undertake Check-A maintenance on its A320 aircraft, PIA’s engineering in Islamabad has made significant progress.
An A320 aircraft (AP-BLU) was authorised for service after passing Check-1A and other lower checks successfully.
The upkeep work was done in Islamabad International Airport’s (IIAP) brand-new maintenance hangar, which provides maintenance employees with a well-lit and cosy workplace even at night.
The chief executive officer of PIA, AVM Amir Hayat, thanked Amir and his crew for completing the Check-A maintenance successfully in Islamabad.
