The apartment transaction ever took place when J P Taparia, the founder of Famy Care, recently paid Rs 369 crore to Lodha Group for a luxurious, sea-facing triplex flat in Malabar Hill, South Bombay. The 26th, 27th, and 28th floors of the mega housing building Lodha Malabar are situated on the prestigious structured, and disciplined Road. The apartment has a 1.08-acre lot size and borders both the Hanging Gardens and the Arabian Sea.
The JP Taparia family paid 1.36 lakh per square foot for the triplex, measuring 27,160 square feet. The family also paid Rs 19.07 crore in stamp duty for the acquisition of the triplex property.
The CEO of Bajaj Auto Acquires a Penthouse for Rs. 252.5 Billion
Niraj Bajaj, the chairman of Bajaj Auto, made another significant investment earlier this month when he paid Rs 252.5 crore to the Lodha Group for a luxurious triplex penthouse with a view of the sea.
The Lodha Malabar Palaces project’s 29th, 30th, and 31st floors are where the flat is located. There are eight parking spaces and 18,008 square feet overall among the three apartments.
On March 13, 2013, an agreement to sell the flat was filed. The stamp duty for the acquisition has been paid in the amount of Rs 15.5 crore.
