As the price of gold fell by $8 to $1,849 per ounce on the international bullion market on Monday, the price of gold fell by Rs 2,000 per tola and per 10 grams of gold in local bullion markets too.
There were a few price changes in the bullion markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta as a result of this. The price of gold per tola decreased to 198,000 rupees, and gold per 10 grams decreased to 169,753 rupees.
Conversely, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at 2140 rupees and the price of ten grams of silver at 1834.70 rupees.
