Only two buses were able to depart Islamabad towards Murree due to transporter uprising. However, the aforementioned buses were unable to return to Barakahu, therefore it was a one-way trip.
According to the report, the Murree administration made an effort to reason with the truckers but was unsuccessful. The unreasonable transporters’ uprising turned into a danger to the public, the passengers, and the buses. Sadly, the government continues to be mute.
While local carriers charged between Rs. 250 and Rs. 300, the CDA started its bus service to Murree for just Rs.
They applauded the move and pleaded with the Punjab government to give the Murree government instructions to take on the transporter mafia.
