Prices of Toyota cars have increased three times in the past 30 days

In an unprecedented move, Toyota Indus Motors (IMC) has increased its car prices for the third time in the last 30 days, setting new records for the country’s auto industry

The price hike comes in the midst of a historic slump in automobile sales, with the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) reporting a 65% decline in sales over the past five years. A market that is already struggling will be further hurt by these new prices.

Toyota Corolla New Prices

  • A 260,000 rupee increase has been made to the Corolla Altis X Manual 1.6, which now costs Rs. 5,529,000. Previously, it was priced at Rs. 5,269,000.
  • There has been an increase of Rs. 310,000 in the price of the Corolla Altis CVT 1.6, which is now priced at Rs. 6,059,000 instead of Rs. 5,749,000.
  • A Corolla 1.6 CVT Upspec was previously priced at Rs. 6,319,000, but now costs Rs. 6,659,000 after a price hike of Rs. 340,000.
  • The price of the Corolla 1.8 CVT has increased by Rs. 300,000, making it Rs. 6,369,000, compared to Rs. 6,069,000 before.
  • The Corolla 1.8 CVT SR used to cost Rs. 6,609,000, but its new price is Rs. 6,939,000 after a price jump of Rs. 330,000.
  • The price of the Corolla 1.8 CVT SR BLK has increased by Rs. 330,000 and will now be RS 6,979,000. The previous price was RS 6,649,000.

Prices of Toyota Yaris

  • There is a price jump of Rs. 200,000 on the Yaris GLI MT 1.3. The old price was Rs. 4,079,000, but the new price is Rs. 4,279,000.
  • The price of Toyota Yaris GLi CVT 1.3 increased by Rs. 210,000 to Rs. 4,549,000 from Rs. 4,339,000 previously.
  • The new rate for the Toyota Yaris ATIV M/T 1.3, after the increase of Rs. 210,000, is Rs.4,519,000, instead of Rs.4,309,000.
  • The Yaris 1.3 H CVT was previously priced at Rs. 4,529,000, but now costs Rs. 4,749,000 after an increase of Rs. 220,000.
  • The new price for the Yaris 1.5 MT is Rs. 4,869,000 after an increase of Rs. 220,000. The last price was Rs. 4,649,000.
  • There has been an increase of Rs. 240,000 in the price of the Toyota Yaris ATIV 1.5 CVT from Rs. 4,929,000 to Rs. 5,169,000.

Toyota Revo Price Change

  • After increasing by Rs. 620,000, the Hilux Revo V Automatic 2.8 now costs Rs.12,859,000 instead of Rs.12,239,000.
  • The Hilux Revo Rocco, which had a price of Rs. 12,899,000, now costs Rs. 13,559,000, an increase of Rs. 660,000.

New Rates of Toyota Fortuner

  • A Fortuner LO Petrol previously cost Rs. 13,419,000; now, after an increase of Rs. 690,000, it costs Rs. 14,109,000.
  • A price increase of Rs. 800,000 has been made to Fortuner High Petrol, and it now costs Rs. 16,159,000 instead of Rs. 15,359,000.
  • A price increase of Rs. 840,000 was seen on Fortuner Diesel, which now costs Rs. 17,029,000 as opposed to Rs. 16,189,000.
  • The Fortuner Legender used to cost Rs. 17,069,000, but now it costs Rs. 17,959,000 after the hike of Rs. 890,000.
