NADRA Prepares to Address Sindh’s Pervasive Property Duplication

All Sindh Sub-Registrar Offices will now use NTL’s biometric verification technology, per an agreement between BoR and NTL, a NADRA subsidiary

The Board of Revenue Sindh (BoR) and NADRA Technologies Limited (NTL), a division of NADRA, have decided to adopt NTL’s biometric verification technology at all Sindh Sub-Registrar Offices to prevent impersonation in property registration.

The use of technology to precisely identify those involved in real estate transactions will promote openness in the registration procedure for properties.

Its goal is to ensure that ownership of real estate in the province is transferred in a secure manner.

The Board of Revenue’s Member (R&S), Syed Ahmed Shah, restated his commitment to transforming the BoR into a cutting-edge, efficient government agency that provides the best possible service to the people of Sindh.

The government and corporate sectors of Pakistan have already implemented NTL’s very effective biometric authentication technology.

The risk of fraud and unauthorised property transfers will be greatly reduced by the adoption of this digital IT solution for property registration.
