In a speech delivered through video link, Mr. Khan attacked PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, saying, “Nawaz wants to banish me from politics and send me to jail.”
The deposed premier claimed that these people were merely interested in saving money and were frightened the PTI would win the election. The abuse of those who have less authority hurts the entire society, he continued.
Mr. Khan used the industrialised nations as an example, stating that “in the developed countries, there is a supremacy of law.”
The PTI had great aspirations for the judiciary, Mr. Khan said in reaction to the LHC’s decision to hold elections in Punjab within 90 days.
He was concerned that the judiciary would come under pressure from the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). According to Mr. Khan, “the people looked on the judiciary to uphold the constitution.”
He recalled his appeal for immediate elections to help the nation escape its impasse.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the former commander of the army, was referred to as “the super king” by Mr. Khan because he “used to take all the decisions by himself.” The PTI head continued, “The previous army chief indicated that the United States is not satisfied with me.
The country will see negative effects as a result of the agreement with the IMF, according to Mr. Khan, who was speaking about the deal with the IMF.
