Imran Khan is criticised by Khawaja Asif for accusing Asif Zardari of a murderous conspiracy

Khawaja Asif slammed PTI Chairman Imran Khan for claiming that Asif Zardari had hatched a conspiracy to kill him, claiming that such claims might endanger the lives of PPP leadership.

He said the damning accusations were a fresh move by Mr. Khan, who had already played several cards in the political game, when speaking at a press conference in his hometown of Sialkot. According to him, the PTI leader tried to incite violence through politics.

The PML-N leader cited the fact that former prime minister Benazir Bhutto had also been killed by terrorists as evidence that the PPP had made significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. Despite suffering severe blows, he claimed, the PPP persisted in its political war.

If a significant disaster occurred in the nation, he claimed Imran Khan would be held accountable. He added, "I am against the politics of retribution," to his earlier statement that politicians shouldn't be held in fabricated cases.

When discussing the acceptance of PTI politicians' resignations, he referred to Imran Khan as a mercurial politician who is now preparing to file a lawsuit opposing the acceptance of resignations tendered voluntarily by PTI MPs.

The PTI leader had been accusing foreigners of plotting to overthrow his administration, and now he was pointing guns at interim Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
