A 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolts some areas of the country

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PDM) reports that a magnitude 6.3 earthquake shook Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and other regions of the nation. The earthquake's 150-kilometer-deep epicentre was located in Tajikistan.

However, according to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake had a depth of 32.4 kilometres and a magnitude of 4.4. Additionally, a different epicentre was detected.
