Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s Nikah was Made Twice, Claims Mufti Saeed

Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Bushra Riaz Wattoo, also known as Bushra Bibi, had two solemnized Nikah ceremonies.

Their Nikah was solemnized in 2018, according to PTI core committee member Mufti Saeed Khan on "Jirga."

According to Mufti Saeed, Bushra Bibi's Nikah was cancelled because it was performed during her Iddat (a period of isolation after her husband dies or divorces her).

As soon as he learned of the matter, the mufti was forced to solemnize the ceremony again. "I declared the Nikah void and solemnized it again according to Islamic teachings."

He married Bushra, his third wife, in February 2018.

Khan's marriage was officially announced by the PTI. According to former party leader Awn Chaudhry and his companion Zulfi Bukhari, Mufti Saeed performed the Nikah in Lahore. Both witnessed Khan's Nikah.

Umar Cheema, was the first to report on the former prime minister's third Nikah. According to him, the first Nikah occurred on January 1, 2018. In response to the report, the party refuted it. In a later statement, the PTI acknowledged that Khan had proposed to Bushra.

Cheema had told Khan that she was observing Iddat when Khan married Bushra. As reported by the journalist, images were released on February 18, 2018, so as to hide Bushra's Iddat from the public.

In order to conceal Khan's fabrication, Cheema claimed Khan had asked Mufti Saeed not to release a statement to the media.

In response, Mufti Saeed said Khan didn't need to prevent him from making a statement because he had agreed to keep the secret information confidential.
