Hate Speech Has Decreased, Twitter Says

Twitter is often a part of the news for different controversies of its CEO Elon Musk. Elon have bought this platform last year by spending $44 billion. After his purchase, there was a peak of hate speech was observed on the platform. It was the result of its CEO's ideology of freedom of speech.

This act of hate speech is a continuous headache for the company’s employees. They are working on it to keep it in control. It is necessary because users stay there on the platform when everyone knows its limits. After working on the hate speech algorithm, Twitter safety published the analytics of last month on it.

“here's an update on our efforts to reduce the reach of hateful speech on Twitter.”

In the next tweet, the words were,

“We continue to see a decrease in the reach of this content, with these impressions accounting for less than 0.01% of all English-language Tweet impressions on the platform since our last update,”

It continues the thread with

“We heard feedback that people want to see a longer lookback period for these insights, so we extended this to 120 days (previously ~60 days). We’re also sharing the actual chart from our internal analytics tool, rather than a designed image, to give further transparency.” and attached analytics chart

In response, the user gave mixed reactions. Some appreciated and some are still unhappy
