Gratitude for Sona Mohapatra’s Apology for Sonali Kulkarni’s Sexist Remark

Some of the most well-known female artists in India are Sonali Kulkarni and Sona Mohapatra. Both enjoy national acclaim for their distinctive talents and performance aesthetics. An accomplished actress, director, and producer, Sonali Kulkarni have appeared in over 100 movies and television programs. Her most well-known performances were in Parineeta (2002) and Dil Chahta Hai (2001). (2005).

She reshared an article about Sonali's apology on Twitter on Monday and wrote, "Had discussion with @Paromitabardolo and agreed with many women, who found her statement disturbing, myopic, and parochial."

Sona Mohapatra went on to say that she gives @sonalikulkarni all the credit for speaking up and expressing her regret. Sona doesn't know a single man who does this not even those who intentionally hurt or injured.

Sonali recently stated at an appearance that many women in India are just plain sluggish. They want a boyfriend or husband who works very hard, owns a home and can count on receiving raises on a regular basis. But while all of this is going on, women fail to stand up for themselves. Women are unsure of their next steps.

Later, after facing harsh criticism from the public, she [Sonali] issued an apology on Instagram. She wrote that if unintentionally, she may have caused pain, she wants to sincerely apologize. She doesn't enjoy making headlines, and she doesn't like being the focus of dramatic events. Being an unwavering optimist, she firmly believes that life is indeed beautiful. She appreciates everyone's tolerance and assistance. She has gained a lot of insight from this experience.
