As you may have noticed yourself, the Twitter icon in the top left corner of the Twitter app is now a doge meme photo. This happened in the latest update of the Twitter app. This Doge meme is an old one that originated in 2010 when a dog named Kabosu, a Shiba Inu, was adopted by a Japanese man named Atsuko Sato. He uploaded a picture of his dog on the internet as a meme in 2010, which got popular in late 2013. Since then, the dog picture has become famous and popular as a meme and has been used to great extent in many of them. But now it’s been so long that the meme has been pushed back.
Now in the latest Twitter app update, Mr. Elon Musk, as an April fool or with his uncanny and unpredictable personality, decided to change the app’s icon to the same Doge meme. In his latest tweet, he showed that meme dog in the car, stating to the officer that the blue bird is the old icon of Twitter and that it’s me now. That itself is a great meme, and everybody is surprised and shocked by this news.

He also shared a screenshot of a tweet later today, where he is conversing with a guy on Twitter, and he suggested to Elon Musk to just buy Twitter and change the bird logo to a doge. And Elon Musk tweets about the post as “as promised.” He never misses a chance to amaze everybody with his unorthodox feats. Remember, Musk was also sued last year in the promotion of the same meme coin and has been known to promote this cryptocurrency since last year in a show hosting Saturday Night Live.

Many famous personalities have liked this new gimmick, while others have shown signs of weirdness. But the cryptonies definitely haven’t taken this lightly. Why do you ask? Well, Doge Meme owned a cryptocurrency coin called Doge Meme Coin. That’s been on the market since the same year it got the hype.
Now that Mr. Elon Musk has put the photo of the very same doge coin on one of the biggest social media platforms, it will have some uplifting effects on the value of the doge coin. The value of the doge coin reached 20% more than its previous worth. This has helped the doge meme coin reach $4 billion in sales. Many crypto traders and experts say these kinds of pumps are temporary, and people start buying these coins in anticipation. But later, this goes to dump and loses its value
On the other hand, DogeCoin is taking full advantage of the situation and exploiting its benefits as much as possible. After Elon Musk’s tweet about the logo change, Dogecoin tweeted their 2010 tweet to commemorate this occasion. Now, what would be the effects of this on the crypto market. Will this doge meme coin thrive and survive, or will it be rejected by many?
