Elahi is “controlling court,” and the CJP should pay attention: Sana

The security chief demanded a forensic analysis of the audio during a press conference in Islamabad. Additionally, he pleaded with the senior judge to prosecute the offenders. After the forensic examination, “if the former chief minister of Punjab is found guilty, then the matter should be put before the judicial committee,” he continued. After conducting a forensic analysis of the recorded chat, Elahi, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ), would be targeted for arrest, according to Sanaullah. Pervaiz Elahi ought to be detained following the filing of a case, according to the initial evidence. The FIA, he continued,

The federal minister claimed that although there had been previous tape leaks of similar conversations, no action had been taken. As a result, the former Punjab chief executive “fearlessly tried to manipulate” the country’s highest court.

Sanaullah also presented a censored audio clip from a leaked recording that supposedly shows the PMLQ leader discussing the Supreme Court issues.

The security czar made reference to the audio leaks and claimed that he filtered the audio clips because he didn’t want to divulge the identify of the superior court judge before forensic investigation. The minister chastised the PTI leader for failing to show up for the session despite court orders. “Everyone has an obligation to treat the courts with respect and decency, but Imran, despite numerous summonses, is failing to appear in court and breaking the law,” he continued. Additionally, he urged the CJP to take note of the former prime minister’s comments regarding purported mockery of the judiciary. The interior minister responded to a query by stating that he will review the situation with the government to quickly arrest the PTI leader.

The chat with a lawyer for Mohammad Khan Bhatti’s case, according to former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s statement regarding the tape leak, was taped and distorted, there is nothing wrong said in the audio.

They stated in a statement released here that honourable judges should refrain from making remarks that make fun of any constitutional office, and there should not be any indication that judges have assumed the position of a prosecutor, a petitioner, or a defendant.

They also urged that the Chief Justice of Pakistan, who also serves as the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, look into the recording that has gone viral on social media and claims that cases were fixed before a particular Supreme Court bench or judge.

If it is confirmed to be authentic, they claimed, Article 209 of the Constitution should be followed.
