DC Suspends Registration of Scarsdale International School

Lahore’s district commissioner suspended the registration of Scarsdale International School after a girl was bullied week ago.

Mohammad Ali, the District Commissioner of Lahore, heard the case today. Until the next hearing in the case, the educational institution’s registration will be suspended.

Last week, a video of a girl being bullied and abused by her female classmates at Scarsdale International School went viral. Four female students have been charged with torturing a fellow student.

Mohammad Ali suspended the school’s registration after hearing arguments from the parties in the case regarding the District Education Authority’s (DEA) recommendations. School owners and principals were also at today’s hearing.

In the meantime, the school administration and parents were instructed to respond to the inquiry report at the next hearing. Additionally, the DEA CEO was instructed to notify the parents.
