Dania Shah, Aamir Liaquat’s Wife, Gets Bail In The Video Leaks Case

The Sindh High Court granted bail to Dania Shah, the third wife of the late televangelist Aamir Liaquat, in connection with the posting of pornographic recordings of the PTI leader online

Dania, who was detained following her arrest by the FIA Cybercrime Wing from the Southern Punjab city of Lodhran, was given a reserved judgement today by the court regarding her bail appeal.

Shah went to the Sindh High Court requesting for the end of judicial remand after the lower court denied her release and claimed there was no proof against her. The court granted her request and instructed her to provide surety bonds in the amount of Rs 200,000.

In the prior hearing, the prosecutor from the top investigation agency accused Dania of recording the lewd video and posting it online.

Dania’s attorney, however, said that the prosecutor’s accusations lacked merit and that Aamir Liaquat Hussain had never reported any inappropriate videos to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in his life.
