SC Sahar Women’s Account Is Introduced by Standard Chartered

A unique bank account for women called the “SC Sahar Women’s Account” has been made available by Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited (SCBPL)

This cutting-edge facility, which underscores Standard Chartered’s focus on financial inclusion and women’s empowerment, will respond to the changing demands of the Bank’s female customers.

Women will be able to access services through the SC Sahar Women’s Account, such as no initial deposit or minimum balance requirement, free debit card and chequebook issuance, free account statements and bank certificates, and more.

Through the Bank’s simple, round-the-clock digital banking, this account may be easily managed. A “waiver” on installation fees and a monthly price of the “Straight-to-Bank” (S2B) payment platform, which enables users to make payments and track business transactions even when they’re on the go, are also offered to business customers along with the account.

There is also a SC Sahar Women’s Account available through Islamic Banking.

With a first-year annual fee waiver, SC Sahar’s asset products provide rate discounts on personal finances and rebates on credit card spending. Along with wonderful gifts, fee-waiver on the processing fee for “home finance” is also available.

The SC Sahar asset proposal comprises a corporate card for business owners and “Easy Credit” (Revolving-Finance) at special rates.

Women can obtain specialist advice services on investing and insurance goods through the SC Sahar wealth offer, as well as rebates on mutual funds and savings on insurance investments.

According to Standard Chartered Bank’s Saadya Riaz, Head of Consumer, Private, and Business Banking, “SC Sahar Women’s Account facilities are based on advanced financial technologies to provide financial security, digital accessibility, and economic freedom to the predominantly unbanked female population of Pakistan.”

“By offering them a variety of advantages and chances, we intend to motivate them to manage their own finances through regulated banking channels. We are empowering Pakistani women to realise their full potential and make a significant contribution to the development of the country.

“Female employees (Sahar Champions) have been placed at customer touch points including SCBPL branches and our contact centres to improve the client experience. Holders of SC Sahar Women’s Accounts can also access video lectures on money management and banking services, she continued.
