Bail Application of Sheikh Rasheed Has been Rejected by the Session Court of Islamabad

Earlier today the Islamabad Session Court dismissed the bail application of Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, the former interior minister. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed the chairman of Awami Muslim League (AML) and Alley of Imran Khan is in the custody of Murree Police and facing the charge of plotting the murder of former president Asif Ali Zardari .

While preferring the arguments the Lawyer of Sheikh Rasheed took the plea of political victimization and argued before the court that the FIR is nothing but a tool to victimize the former minister.

Further, the Lawyer argued that no more investigation is needed in the case as prima facie the case is politically motivated.
