I spoke with Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, about buying oil at a lower price, but when I got back to Pakistan, the chief of army staff wanted me to denounce Russia’s attack on Ukraine , Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, stated;
Khan, who was ousted from office by a vote of no-confidence in April of last year, claimed in a speech to intellectuals via video link that when he encouraged Bajwa to remain “neutral” like India in the situation, the former army chief instead began criticising Russia.
The dismissed prime minister said that “a grade-22 officer made a foreign policy comment during a seminar to impress the US.” He continued by saying that when decisions were taken to appease Washington, the nation would have to deal with the repercussions.
He said, “80,000 people died in the war on terror in an effort to beg the United States.”
The PTI leader pointed his gun at the coalition government and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), complaining that “these people are making new excuses” despite the Constitution’s requirement that elections be held 90 days after the dissolution of the assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It’s important to remember that Khan stated earlier today that he will launch a Save the Constitution campaign [Aain Bachao Tehreek] if elections were not held within 90 days.
