Katrina Kaif is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi films. She is one of the most popular and highest-paid actresses in India and is considered one of the nation’s most attractive celebrities. Kaif has established herself as one of the most successful actresses in the Indian film industry, having received numerous awards and nominations, including four Filmfare Awards.
Katrina Kaif has been the subject of much attention from the paparazzi, often followed and photographed by them in her daily life. In an interview with The Times of India, Kaif said, “I’m used to the paparazzi and there’s a certain level of understanding between us. I’m aware that the paparazzi will follow me if I’m attending an event or making a public appearance. But I make sure that I’m not surrounded by them when I’m going about my daily life.” Despite her efforts to avoid the paparazzi, they still manage to capture her in candid moments.
In a previous interview, Katrina Kaif stated that she was afraid of being followed by paparazzi and couldn’t ride her bike around with her pals or hang out in coffee shops.
In a 2018 interview, Katrina discussed how much has changed since she made her film industry debut. “I thought the 17-year-old girl with the long hair was so adorable when I saw a video of my first press appearance for Boom the other day on my Instagram.” that woman remarked. It feels like I’ve lived here my entire life, but the industry has evolved, as I mentioned to director-choreographer Farah Khan. She concluded that social media is to blame.
Then, she continued, “I am conscious that I am being recorded or that a camera is on me whether you are at a gathering, a party, or even an interview. I became aware of this because I am accountable for what is posted online”.
Then she added, “Nothing hasn’t. Dialogues were written on the set back then because there were no bound scripts. Cameras weren’t on phones. With my friends, I would cycle around at will and spend the evenings hanging out at coffee shops. The only photographer there was essentially Yogen Shah, and if you told him you didn’t want to be photographed, he would put his camera away and leave. There were no paparazzi prowling around. At press conferences, when I was very little, he occasionally motioned for me to sit up from the front row. Everything was very intimate and intimately personal. Not any longer.”
In Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara, Katrina will appear. Moreover, she is slated to appear in Happy Christmas opposite Vijay Sethupati.
