The First Ten days of Ramadan
Ramadan is a time when we stop our desire to eat and drink. This month can change your life if you practice well to change your bad habits and turn them into good habits.
This month is special for Muslims during these days they spend most of their time to pray Allah and seek forgiveness. There are Three stages of Ramadan; among them the first stage of Ramadan is called the days of mercy.
According to Muslims, the first ten days of Ramadan are called the days of mercy. These days are best to seek mercy and pray as much as possible. The first stage of Ramadan is called the first Ashra of Ramadan. or 10 days of mercy. The second stage of Ramadan is called the Stage of forgiveness (Magfirat) While the third stage of Ramadan is referred to as safety from hell called Nijat.
In the first Ashra of Ramadan, every Muslim needs to seek mercy. A good dua for the first Ashra is “O Allah forgive all human kind and have mercy, you are indeed best merciful.” (Al Quran 23:118) It is recommended to spend first ten days of Ramadan with family members and other relatives. don’t forget to say sorry if you hurt anyone because these are days of mercy, change your hard heart and turn it into a soft heart.
Most people repeat ‘Subhan Allahai Wa Bi Hamdi Hi’ hundred times a day.” You can also do that. In the first ten days, it is difficult to pray at night but it is important to spend all ten days in remembrance of Allah Almighty.
Some prayers are ‘Rabi igfir warham wa anta khair o raiment Translation: O, My Lord, forgive me (and forgive everyone) and mercy on me. Indeed you are merciful. This Sura is mentioned in (Al Quran Sura 23 Ayat Number 118) another beautiful prayer is “Allah huma Arhamni Ya Arhamunrahimin” Oh merciful Allah, have mercy on me.

- Remembrance of Allah
Remember Allah Almighty During the first ten days, Always seek mercy by saying
“Allah huma Arhamni Ya Arham ur rahimin” (Oh merciful Allah, have mercy on me)
Try to avoid unnecessary activities. Spend these ten days in remembrance of Allah Almighty. If you feel bored you can watch Islamic videos, and read articles about ethics, mercy, and Islam. Changing your bad habits.
Being human we have a lot of bad habits like smoking, playing video games all time, spending too much time on social media, and telling unnecessary jokes to our friend’s circles. If we try to change our habits then it works.
- Charity
If we help poor people these days then Allah will reward us for this kindness. Allah loves those who follow Huqooq ul Ibaad (Humanity). If you want to help the poor and needy people then you should keep it secrete. help where help is needed. and don’t forget to keep this help in secret.
- Take care of your Neighbours
If you are fasting but your neighbor has nothing to eat then your fasting does not deserve any reward.
If you have money try to help seceretly and don’t show off your power. You need to help him/her if she/he ask any help. Give him/her some fruits, vegetables and a dishes as a gift.
It is mentioned in Bukhari 6014 that “Jibrail a.s recommended prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to take care of his neighbors.
- Read Islamic Books and Articles
Books will convert your mind from social media (an imaginary world) to real world. Always chose some good books and read early in the morning.
You will get amazing ideas, your knowledge will increase and definitely you will feel your lord with you. but please do not read those books which Includes hate speeches regads to other sects of Islam as it will disturb your mind.
Always ask mercy from Allah almighty. Being human we have a lot of sins and only Allah will show us a straight path and forgive our sins.
