Rupee Ends The Day At 225.4 Against The Dollar

In interbank trade on Thursday, the value of the Pakistani rupee decreased.

In interbank trade on Thursday, the value of the Pakistani rupee decreased by 02 paisas in relation to the US dollar, finishing at Rs 225.42 as opposed to Rs 225.40 the day before. The purchasing and selling values of the dollar in the open market were reported at Rs 232.4 and Rs 234.7, respectively, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP). Compared to the previous day’s closing price of Rs 239.51, the price of the euro rose by 27 paisas to conclude at Rs 239.78.

State Bank of Pakistan claims that (SBP). The British pound’s exchange rate fell by 87 paisas to conclude at Rs 273.06 from its previous closing price of Rs 273.93, while the Japanese Yen dropped one paisa to close at Rs1.70. The exchange rates for the Saudi riyal and the Emirates dirham closed at Rs. 59.93 and Rs. 61.38, respectively.
