Gold prices reached an all-time high of Rs 180,650 on Thursday compared to its sale at Rs 178,800 on the previous trading day, reflecting a gain of Rs 1850 in the price of 24 karats per tola. The cost of 10 grammes of 22 karat gold climbed from Rs 140,518 to Rs 141,972 while the cost of 10 grammes of 24 karat gold jumped by Rs 1586 to Rs 154,878 from Rs 153,292, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. While the price of 10-gram silver jumped by 42.87 rupees to Rs 6044.54, the price of a tola of silver increased by 50 rupees to Rs 2100.
