While Comforting Flood Victims, The PM Announces A New Campus For The COMSATS University

The prime minister, has announced the opening of a COMSATS University campus in Khairpur.

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has announced the opening of a COMSATS University campus in Khairpur. During his visit to Pir Guddu and Kot Diji in the Khairpur area, the premier shared the good news.

The prime minister vowed to provide funding for the building of the campus and homes for those impacted by the floods on Thursday when speaking to flood victims in Khairpur.

According to PM Shehbaz, around Rs 5 billion will be set aside for the construction of homes for flood victims, and he promised that the government would make every effort to help those impacted by the flooding.

The government will explain the situation of individuals impacted by the floods, the losses incurred, the damage caused by the floods, and the effects of climate change during a donors’ conference to be held in Geneva next month, he said.

The premier was attended on this occasion by the Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, the Federal Planning Minister, Ahsan Iqbal, and other important guests.

Lt. Gen. Inam Haider Malik, the chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), gave PM Shehbaz a briefing on the recovery and humanitarian activities before he gave his speech.
