Police Arrested Sheikh Rashid From Murree Motorway

Police detained AML leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed from the Murree Motorway early on Thursday

Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was detained by police early on Thursday from the Murree Motorway, which was a significant development.

Sheikh Rashid’s nephew updated of his arrest to media houses.

The police have discovered a bottle of alcohol and a weapon in Sheikh Rashid’s possession. Additionally, police claimed that the former minister of railways was intoxicated.

According to Raja Inayat-ur-Rehman, the Rawalpindi Division President of the PPP, the former federal minister made false allegations at former president Asif Ali Zardari for plotting to kill Imran Khan, which led to the arrest at the Aabpara police station in Islamabad.

According to sources, the AML director would be turned over to the Islamabad police.

The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) sealed seven units, including two units from Lal Haveli and five adjacent units, on January 30. This brought Rashid’s Lal Haveli into the spotlight.

Imran Khan, the head of PTI, expressed his “strong condemnation” of the arrest of his close aide and AML chief on Twitter.
