While the price of gold fell by $2 per ounce to the $1,936 level during trading in the international market, the price rose further in local bullion markets.
Despite the decrease in the international market, the prices of gold per tola and per ten grams increased by 6 thousand 500 rupees and 5 thousand 574 rupees, respectively, in local bullion markets.
As a result, the price of gold per tola increased to 2 lakh 9 thousand rupees and the price of gold per 10 grams increased to Rs. 179,184 (one lakh 79 thousand 814) rupees in the bullion markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.
On the other hand, the price of silver per tola is Rs 2173.00, and the price of ten grams of silver is Rs 1863.03.
