Fawad Chaudhry’s Bail Granted

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry's bail was granted for threatening the Election Commission.

Fawad Chaudhry's bail application was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Haider Gilani, and Fawad Chaudhry's lawyer Babar Awan appeared before the court. Senior counsel, former Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan and the investigating officer appeared before the court along with records. The court ordered the release of Fawad Chaudhry by granting bail in exchange for 20 thousand rupees.

Judge Faizan Gilani remarked that he is giving bail on one condition that Fawad Chaudhry will not repeat this conversation. During the hearing, the Election Commission and the prosecution had opposed Fawad Chaudhry's bail and pleaded for rejection of bail.

After Fawad Chaudhry's bail was approved, Faisal Chaudhry instructed the Islamabad court workers that we would leave for Adiala.
