In Wednesday’s National Assembly session, Shehbaz Sharif assured the assembly his government would resolve the issue of gas load shedding during Iftar and Sehr.
After Member of National Assembly Syed Agha Rafiullah raised a point of order, the prime minister replied that he had already taken notice.
Furthermore, he announced that the gas load-shedding issue would also be discussed at the meeting later that day.
“We will leave no stone unturned to address this issue,” he assured the House.
On a point of order, a Karachi parliamentarian raised the issue of gas load-shedding during Sehr and Iftar, which is a problem faced by many in Karachi.
Even though the prime minister had already been made aware of the issue, he claimed, the Sui Southern Gas Company needs to be told to find a solution and ensure a continuous supply of gas during Sehr and Iftar.
