BioNTech Begins Trials For Cancer Treatment Based On mRNA

The Covid-19 vaccination was developed by the German pharmaceutical company BioNTech.

On Friday, the company announced plans to test a cancer treatment using the same mRNA technology in the UK based on the firm.

Along with a regional office in London, the company will also open a new research and development facility in Cambridge with about 70 people.

He continued on to say that the UK's successful and speedy production of Covid-19 vaccines demonstrated that pharmaceutical development may be accelerated without forgoing short cuts if everyone works together to achieve the same goal.

The first Covid vaccine to be approved in the West in late 2020, the Pfizer/BioNTec Coronaviruses vaccine, introduced the messenger RNA approach.
