Wednesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI”Jail )’s Bharo Tehreek” was completely rejected by the public, according to federal minister of interior Rana Sanaullah (court arrest drive).
According to the interior minister, PTI Chairman Imran Khan intended to utilise his loyal party members in a plot, but the scheme was exposed before it even got off the ground.
He claimed that although the government had planned to detain 500 persons, barely three to four hundred showed there. He claimed that 80 persons entered the prison vans and added that three or four members of Imran’s inner circle had also been taken into custody.
The minister remarked that Imran Khan views his political adversaries as his foes and vowed that the government would not permit another hostage situation.
Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb claimed that Imran Khan’s “Jail Bharo” movement was a plot against the nation while speaking at a press conference.
She claimed that the former premier’s “thefts and robberies” were harming the less fortunate sections of society.
She claimed that “he has developed a new conspiracy in the form of the Jail Bharo movement after multiple failed schemes in the previous nine months,” adding that the movement ought to be known as Jail Bacho (save from incarceration).
She referred to the action as a “drama” and questioned why 200 innocent people were being detained when Imran Khan was being called in and PTI leaders were being questioned about the Toshakhana (gift depository) issue and the cypher conspiracy.
She emphasised that Imran needed to provide answers and said, “These are criminal arrests, not political arrests.
Saad Rafique, a federal minister, criticised PTI leader Imran Khan for establishing his “Jail Bharo Tehreek” in the meantime. When staff were being directed to make arrests, Imran Khan was obtaining bail for himself, according to Saad Rafique, who was speaking to the media in this location. He claimed that Imran Khan has lost public support as a result of his contradictory positions on every issue.
When in necessity, Imran Khan can do anything, Saad Rafique claimed in reference to Pervaiz Elahi joining PTI.
According to him, political vendetta in the nation must end and political governments should be allowed to serve out their full terms. He declared that he personally disagreed with the detention of political activists.
