In Lakki Marwat, six TTP militants were shot and killed

In an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat, at least six terrorists connected to the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were shot and killed, according to police on Thursday

According to Lakki Marwat police spokesperson Shahid Hameed, the operation was carried out under the control of the Dadiwala police station following a tip from security officers that terrorists were preparing an attack on the Abbas police checkpoint.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter-Terrorism Department and police carried out the operation.

“As the security personnel arrived at the terrorists’ hiding place, they started shooting at the officers from several angles. According to the police spokeswoman, the police also responded in kind.

When the gunfire ceased, according to Hameed, the police examined the area and discovered the dead of six terrorists. They had “a sizable cache of loaded weapons, ammunition, and grenades,” according to the report.

Ziaullah, Safatullah, Mohibullah, and Kaleemullah were four of the terrorists who were killed. The official stated that efforts were being made to identify two more people.

He continued by saying that the Lakki Marwat police and the CTD have issued wanted notices for the terrorists due to their involvement in attacks on police.
