The UN General Assembly is considering a draught resolution to resolve the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called Pakistani President Dr. Arif Alvi to ask for Pakistan’s assistance.

According to Pakistani official media, during the chat, the president expressed Pakistan’s continued worry about the war in Ukraine.

According to the UN Charter, he said, Pakistan supports a peaceful resolution to the dispute. The Government of Pakistan, he claimed, was reviewing the resolution’s draft’s text.

The two leaders talked about the political and economic relations between Pakistan and Ukraine as well as the energy and food security problems that the developing world is currently confronting in the aftermath of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Both parties placed a strong emphasis on fostering economic and trade ties for the two nations’ mutual benefit. Also, President Zelenskyy invited the leader of Pakistan to visit Ukraine.
