The minister was briefed by the nation’s major exporters of steel, pharmaceuticals, and textiles about the difficulties they experience when conducting business and exporting domestic goods.
The minister assured them of the government’s complete support and added that the industrial sector will receive unremitting support in order to address their problems. According to him, the business community should inform the government of any red tape or other obstacles standing in the way of starting an enterprise, and the government will remove them.
According to the minister, the administration is working to foster a climate that is friendly to business and entrepreneurs. In the past, he claimed, we were taught to spend money rather than earn it.
He claimed that whether we can increase our exports to $100 billion in the shortest amount of time will determine whether the nation survives. He continued by saying that the government supports industry in its efforts to increase exports and draw in foreign direct investment (FDI).
The Minister invited the private sector to use the Ministry of Planning and Development’s platform to help them with their issues.
He claimed that Vision 2010 and Vision 2025 aimed to transform Pakistan’s economic system and deliver prosperity and development, but regrettably political unrest stalled the forward movement.
