How to check your family tree in Pakistan?

According to NADRA there are a lot of fake identity cards and there are many fake names that have been linked to some family in Pakistan. Just in case someone created an ID card in your name or someone accidentally entered your family tree, check quickly before it is too late.

How to check family tree with SMS?

To check your family tree, you need to message NADRA for that follow these steps.

Step 01: Type your National Identity Number

Step 02: Give Space and then type your Issue date like that dd-mm-yyyy

Step 03: Send this message to 8009

Step 04: Wait, until you receive a message from NADRA

Step 05: Open the message you received from NADRA and that is your family tree

Note: Charges for this message is almost 5 rupees, If you don’t have then don’t worry I will provide you another method to check your family tree in Pakistan, if you have balance but still you do not received

Message then it means that your mobile number is not registered in NADRA. If you find some unknown name in your family tree then simply reply with 1, you will receive a call from NADRA office then provide detail about your family. The official number of NADRA office is 051-2778009, there is no any other number of NADRA office so if you received call from unknown number don’t provide your family detail. Note this official number and wait for their call after replying with 1.

How to register mobile number in NADRA?

There is no any method to verify your mobile number online, or with SMS. To verify your mobile number you need to visit NADRA office near to your house, and ask them to verify your number and register it in NADRA.

How to verify family tree online?

This method is free of cost and especially for those who are outside of Pakistan and have no active network registered with NADRA, you do not need to pay for it, with this method you will know your family tree.

For that visit official side of NADRA id.nadra.gov.pk on the upper right side you will see apply now, click on apply now, then register an account if already have account in there website simply click on login then accept term and conditions, click on new application, click on issuance of identity document (CNIC, NICOP,FRC,POC), click on family registration certificate and start application.

This method is also applicable applying for FRC, but we just want to verify our family members and need a complete family tree so for that on the left right side there is an option to type citizen number, type your CNIC number and click on arrow symbol behind the box.

If you are married then click on FRC with Spouses and children, if you are not married then click on FRC with parents and siblings. Then proceed the application, now you need to upload white background picture of any one you can choose any picture from Google, because we are not applying for FRC this method is only to find our family tree so picture does not produce any fault.

After uploading your picture you will find option of Family member verification, type CNIC of any your family member and put relation with Applicant.

Now add all members of your family to verify your family tree and click on verify my family button to find your family tree. If you received some message like “You Have Not Provided Information for All Family Members, Your Family Has More Members as per NADRA record. Please Provide More Information about you members”. It means that you have more members in your family tree, and you need to verify it from NADRA office. If you find “your family data is verified than congratulation, there is no additional person in your family, and you are secure now.

Our task is done now click on Action and delete this application; you can also close this application directly. This was method to verify you family tree online, as it is important for each one in Pakistan to verify his family tree to make save his family from any kind of fraud.
