This month is special for Muslims during these days they spend most of their time to pray Allah and seek forgiveness. There are Three stages of Ramadan; among them the first stage of Ramadan is called the days of mercy.

According to Muslims, the first ten days of Ramadan are called the days of mercy. These days are best to seek mercy and pray as much as possible. The first stage of Ramadan is called the first Ashra of Ramadan. or 10 days of mercy. The second stage of Ramadan is called the Stage of forgiveness (Magfirat) While the third stage of Ramadan is referred to as safety from hell called Nijat.

In the first Ashra of Ramadan, every Muslim needs to seek mercy. A good dua for the first Ashra is “O Allah forgive all human kind and have mercy, you are indeed best merciful.” (Al Quran 23:118) It is recommended to spend first ten days of Ramadan with family members and other relatives. don’t forget to say sorry if you hurt anyone because these are days of mercy, change your hard heart and turn it into a soft heart.

Most people repeat ‘Subhan Allahai Wa Bi Hamdi Hi’ hundred times a day.” You can also do that. In the first ten days, it is difficult to pray at night but it is important to spend all ten days in remembrance of Allah Almighty.

Some prayers are ‘Rabi igfir warham wa anta khair o raiment Translation: O, My Lord, forgive me (and forgive everyone) and mercy on me. Indeed you are merciful. This Sura is mentioned in (Al Quran Sura 23 Ayat Number 118) another beautiful prayer is “Allah huma Arhamni Ya Arhamunrahimin” Oh merciful Allah, have mercy on me.

Here is a list of 4 steps you can follow during these days.

  • Take care of your Neighbours

If you are fasting but your neighbor has nothing to eat then your fasting does not deserve any reward.

If you have money try to help seceretly and don’t show off your power. You need to help him/her if she/he ask any help. Give him/her some fruits, vegetables and a dishes as a gift.

It is mentioned in Bukhari 6014 that “Jibrail a.s recommended prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to take care of his neighbors.
