ENGLISH MEANING
The ability to understand and share another person's feelings.
Empathy is the capacity to perceive and feel what someone else is experiencing emotionally, as if you were in their place. It is used in personal relationships, counseling, and leadership to convey genuine concern. Unlike sympathy, which is feeling pity, empathy involves actively feeling the other’s emotions.
