The finalists of the first ever under 19 T20 women’s world cup are finally unveiled. Team India fixed its spot by playing against New Zealand. The second team is team England, who defeated its rival Australia.
In India vs. New Zealand match, the Kiwi team batted first. They set a target of 107 at the loss of 9 wickets. India successfully chased the target in 14.2 overs with eight wickets in hand. Plimmer and Isabella Gaze scored 35 and 26 for team New Zealand. While Parshavi Chopra bagged 3 wickets for her team. Shweta Sehrawat played an exceptional knock of 61 for team India and made it possible to achieve the target earlier. Anna Browning sent back two players to the pavilion. Parshavi Chopra was the player of the match.

The second semi-final was played between 2 historic rivals, i.e., England and Australia. England batted first and set a target of 99. Alexa Stonehouse and Grace Scrivens were the top scorers with 25 and 20 runs, respectively. Sianna Ginger, Ella Hayward, and Maggie Clark send 3 players back to the dressing room. While fighting back, team Australia completely collapsed at 3 runs short of the target. The top scorers were Amy Smith, and Claire Moore scored respectively 26 and 20 runs. Hannah Baker bagged 3 wickets for team England against 10 runs. Hannah Baker was the player of the match.
