A mouth-watering clash is between the best of the under-19 women’s world cup. Both showed resilience throughout the tournament and played exceptional knocks. But who will be the best? Today everyone will witness.
Before the final, both captains expressed their thoughts in a press conference about the upcoming game. Indian captain Shafali Verma is confident about the win in the match ahead. She said,
“The feeling is very good because whatever the plans we have done that in the practice session,”
“They are very excited to play in the final. We are just thinking of backing each other in the final. We are going to enjoy it and give our hundred percent.” she added.
She also talked about her team’s moral,
“It’s about going out there and enjoying the game. I’ve told the teammates’ don’t stress, just give your 100 percent without thinking of it as the final. Just believe in yourself.”
Team India was also in the final last time against Australia but was unable to win the title. She also talked about the last time,
“It’s all past, and that cannot be recreated. We are determined to bring the World Cup this time and are trying to improve day by day.”
While the English captain said,
“It’s about resetting and going to the next game. We want to play with a positive mindset and play fearless cricket. I’m sure yesterday’s collapse will not affect us.”
The final will be played at JB Marks Oval, Potchefstroom.
