Pakistani actress Mahira Khan expressed her displeasure on Wednesday regarding the events that took place at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s home in Lahore’s Zaman Park.
In an effort to arrest Khan, who was ousted as prime minister last April, law enforcement personnel and PTI workers engaged in violent altercations for nearly 24 hours in Zaman Park.
Numerous people were hurt during the incident, including police officers and PTI employees. Law enforcement officers used tear gas, and party supporters turned to throw Molotov cocktails.

After Khan disobeyed orders to appear in court on allegations that he illegally sold state gifts given to him by foreign dignitaries while serving as prime minister from 2018 to 2022, a lower court in the nation’s capital, Islamabad, issued a warrant against him. This prompted the operation to arrest Khan.
Following Khan’s resignation from office in a parliamentary vote at the beginning of last year, legal action was taken against him. Since then, he has led protests across the country calling for an early election. During one of these rallies, he was shot and injured.
