Two Road Projects Worth Rs. 7 Billion To Begin In Lahore Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, will lay the cornerstone for two projects worth a combined Rs. 7 billion

Elahi will reportedly lay the foundation stone at Gulshan Ravi for the Band Road T-Junction project. The project, which is expected to cost Rs. 4.84 billion, will start construction under the direction of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).

Similar to that, the CM will lay the foundation stone for the two-month-old, Rs. 2.21 billion Samanabad Underpass project. An emergency ceremony has been planned by LDA officials.

The provincial ministers, assembly members, administrative staff, LDA representatives, and other dignitaries have all been invited by the government to the occasion.

The incorporation of EV charging stations with new construction has also been mandated in Lahore. The issuing of environmental no-objection certificates (NOCs) for new offices, retail buildings, and petrol stations was the topic of a meeting last month that was presided over by Commissioner Aamir Jaan.
