The Highest-Grossing Film From The Subcontinent In The Last Four Months

The Legend of Maula Jatt by Bilal Lashari has won praise from people all around the world in addition to entertaining audiences in its own country.

The movie has now surpassed the threshold of generating more than PKR 150 crore globally to become the biggest grossing Indian movie of the past four months in the UK and Ireland.

According to Moviegoers Entertainment, TLoMJ made £44,149 in the fifth week of its UK release, bringing its total earnings to almost £1.3 million, exceeding the $1.26 million taken in by India’s biggest hit, Ponniyan Selvan: I.

Like other movies, Lashari’s directorial effort did experience a decline in audience, but the decline wasn’t particularly pronounced. Since the day of its debut up to this point, TLoMJ’s viewership has decreased to just 54.6%, which is lower than that of its rivals.

The script for TLoMJ was written by Lashari and Nasir Adeeb and was produced by Geo Films, Encyclomedia, and Lashari Films. Its prominent actors are Ali Azmat, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malik, Mahira Khan, Gohar Rasheed, and Hamza Ali Abbasi.
