The Co-founder Of The Indian Food Delivery Service Zomato Leaves

BENGALURU: Indian food aggregator Zomato Ltd. announced on Friday that co-founder Mohit Gupta had left the company after nearly five years.

Before being promoted to co-founder in May 2020, Gupta was the segment’s chief executive and is credited with starting from scratch Zomato’s meal delivery operations.

In a letter to the business, Gupta stated that he was quitting to explore “unknown adventures.”

His resignation comes after that of Nitin Savara, the business’s former deputy chief financial officer, who left in August.

Due to an increase in online order volume and value, Zomato last week disclosed a modest second-quarter deficit.
